Ticket Policy
Our policy requires that every person have a ticket in order to be admitted to a performance. This policy applies to everyone, including children and toddlers. Only “babes in arms” will be admitted free of charge (under 12 months old).
Notice to Parents of Infants and Toddlers
In general, our productions are not suitable for children who are younger than 5 years of age. Children younger than 5 are not usually permitted in the theatre because they may become frightened, upset or disruptive, which is an unfair distraction for others who are looking forward to being immersed in the theatrical experience. Please note that the Festival is careful to present shows that are tailored to children in a selected age range. Children younger than 5 require specifically designed performances that match their development. This year, the OICF is offering two productions for the very young: Trio for a Green Pea / Trio pour un p’tit pois and Bathtime / Le Bain, both of which are offered in English and French. We encourage you to bring your children to these shows, or to shows that are listed as “All ages”, so they can thoroughly enjoy the Children’s Festival experience.
Parking
Parking is available at the Canadian War Museum, both in the underground parking lot and at metered spaces surrounding LeBreton Flats Park.
